Ocean View is a small town in southern Delaware. It is positioned in Sussex County and is located less than 10 miles north of the State of Maryland. According to the United States Census Bureau, Ocean View was home to 2,000 residents in 2016.

Mathew Scarborough was the first settler to establish himself on the grounds of modern-day Ocean View. Scarborough was granted the land by Lord Baltimore.
